Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Clockwise iOS application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Clockwise is an educational iOS application designed to help children learn to read analog clocks. The App includes:

• Two game modes: "Set the Clock" and "Pick the Right Time"
• Multi-language support (English, French, German, Dutch, Italian)
• AI voice guidance in all supported languages
• Six difficulty levels with customizable question counts
• Offline functionality - no internet connection required

License to Use

What You Can Do:

• Install and use Clockwise on your iOS devices
• Let your children use the App for educational purposes
• Use the App in classroom or homeschool settings
• Make backup copies as permitted by iOS

What You Cannot Do:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any copyright notices or proprietary labels
• Distribute, sell, or commercially exploit the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purposes

Purchase Terms

Clockwise offers a one-time purchase to unlock all difficulty levels and features:

• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store
• Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
• The unlock applies to all devices signed in with the same Apple ID
• Family Sharing is supported where available
• No recurring subscriptions or hidden fees

Privacy and Data

Clockwise is designed with privacy as a priority:

• No personal data is collected or transmitted
• The App works completely offline
• All settings are stored locally on your device only
• No third-party analytics or advertising services are used

Age Requirements

Clockwise is designed for children and families. While the App is safe for children of all ages, downloads and purchases must be made by someone 13 years of age or older, or by a parent or guardian on behalf of a younger child.

Intellectual Property

The Clockwise app, including its design, graphics, text, audio, and code, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The Clockwise name and logo are our trademarks.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Educational Tool: Clockwise is designed as a supplementary educational tool. While we strive for accuracy and effectiveness, we cannot guarantee specific learning outcomes.

No Warranties: The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Limitation of Liability: Our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the App, if any.

Support and Updates

We strive to keep Clockwise updated and working smoothly. Updates may be provided through the App Store to fix bugs, improve performance, or add new features. While we aim to provide ongoing support, we cannot guarantee that support will always be available.

Termination

You may stop using Clockwise at any time by deleting it from your devices. These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate immediately if you fail to comply with any of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where we are based, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
